Let’s face it, there are a million shoes out there that claim to be “the one”. It is just not the case. But also, the research is not exactly the best at helping us make good foot wear decisions either. So what are you supposed to do? Running barefoot is not the best of options, but foam filled soles are not the right stuff either. It is all about the foot, what you are using it for and if there are problems with it to begin with. In order to make the right choice, you need to consider all of these things before forking over the greenbacks.
This article only truly scratches the surface of a larger conversation about shoe wear and feet. My best advice, see your physical therapist or podiatrist for some guidance before you go and pay $200 for “the one” shoe.
